It's funny, when people look at me and see where I live they would have no idea that I',m a recovering alcoholic and drug addict. I live in a nice upper-middle-class neighborhood, I'm married to a lawyer and I have two master's degrees. As I say in my new e-book, I Can Do It, looks can be very deceiving.

I grew up in a very abusive home. I was both suicidal and homicidal, in a pretty major gang, and filled with self-loathing and hatred. I'm from New York, and as soon as I graduated from High School I got the hell out of dodge and went as far away as I could. I never looked back.

I first got involved with metaphysics in junior high, but I pretty much blew it off. When I got into college and away from all that negativity I started discovering the light. I literally saw a beautiful white light enter my body and fill me. When that light was there I felt so wonderful!

I discovered that I could call that light to me and fill myself up. When I did that I was in a very positive place.
